A data cabling survey is the first and most important step in ensuring your network is designed and installed correctly. During the survey, we will ascertain the layout of your property, optimal cable routes to minimise disruption and interference, and the correct structured cabling solution for your current and future bandwidth needs.
What’s Included
During your survey, one of our experienced cabling engineers will:
- Inspect your site layout, including walls, ceilings, floor voids, risers and existing trunking
- Identify the best cable routes and containment options (trays, conduits, trunking)
- Assess power separation to avoid crosstalk and interference
- Advise on outlet locations, patch panels, and comms room/rack design
- Determine the correct cabling specification (e.g. Cat6a for 10GbE, fibre for long runs)
- Provide advice on future-proofing (e.g. PoE+, WiFi access points, CCTV, smart systems)
- Supply a detailed written report & quotation for the installation
The fee for your data cabling survey is redeemable against your final project invoice.
