AV Man was conceptualised in 2010 in partnership with our sister companies PC Man and WiFi Man, who have been at the fore of the London tech scene since 2005. I’ve been using PC Man for around 5 years for a variety of smaller jobs and one large installation too. For the larger job they installed a projector, screen and sound system for my TV including in ceiling speakers. The whole system is amazing and I’ve been so pleased with the results as it involved working around builders plus they recommended all of the hardware so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. What I really appreciate though is having support on the smaller things. PC Man are able to come to my house or my office, whichever is best for me and sort stuff like routers, buying new laptops, transferring all the data and taking all the hassle out of it for me. Definitely recommend.

PC Man was recommended to me when we had repeated problems with my home internet connection. We wanted a decent home network to use Sonos, have WiFi that’s reliable enough for me to work from home, and watch Netflix without it dropping out. We’d been trying to do this on the standard BT equipment, but it wasn’t up to it. I told PC Man what we wanted to do, and they just made it all happen. They set up everything we needed, providing all the equipment (including routers and Sonos), ran the cabling under the floors so it’s completely invisible, gave us a really neat ‘hub’ for all the technology, tested it all – even the TV channels – to check we were happy, and made sure we could work everything before they left. We now have fantastic WiFi, TV and music throughout the flat, with no cables showing, and couldn’t be happier. It was a really great service, and I wholeheartedly recommend them.

I have worked with Michael for over 10 years - both for internet issues and basic IT / laptop issues and he has been excellent at providing bespoke solutions that suit my needs. The options he provides can seem expensive initially, but once you understand what the system is doing for you it's definitely worth the investment. The first set up he created for me didn't fail once in over 10 years of use, and the hardware he provided was still going strong when I moved out of the property (so well in fact, that the next owner has chosen to continue the service). What Michael does really well is optimise the environment you have and make it the best it can be for you. He provides additional kit and software to maximise the internet you have available at your property - either to get around physical limitations like at my first property, where the flat was long and thin making it hard to get WiFi to reach the back of the flat where the office was located, or technical limitations, like with my current house where there is no fibre in the area. He then provides monitoring software which he uses to identify quickly where an issue is if you experience one. He's quick to respond, and explains things clearly. Take the time to understand the solutions Michael suggests, make your needs clear ( we were less hi-tech than Michael so didn't need everything he initially proposed) and he will provide a great solution, which is reliable and future proofed. He's professional and importantly, you can trust his advice.

I contacted Michael as there was an issue with my ethernet cable to my office. He came by the house and sorted it within a couple of days. Asides from that he suggested a few changes that i might want to consider in the future and let me know a few short term fixes that i could do myself.

I contacted Michael ( PC Man) because I was not happy about how my internet and WiFi were working. We made an appointment for him to come and review my systems. He ascertained that my broadband connection was only around 10Mbps but explained that this could not be improved as we could not get fibre provision through BT Openreach. He explained that our WiFi distribution through the house could be improved by adding ethernet connections and Wireless Access Points (WAPs). Other improvements suggested were a better router and a new desktop computer. These changes were implemented on agreed dates and Michael and his team were at all times courteous and helpful. He explained everything carefully and helpfully and was always responsive to my emails.
